They go together. I’ve just started delving into this now popular way of treating all kinds of ailments. I started with 6 scents that have effects on mood since that is my main fascination with it all. I know that scents effect my mood so I believe in this…not just jumping on the bandwagon. I actually use the oils!
Here are some pics of the jewelry I have made for my ETSY Shop… Beads And Maille
I’ve been getting sales! It’s slow but it’s happening. I get such satisfaction out of creating that just the thought that someone would pay money to have one is humbling and exciting!
I recently started metal stamping and a friend has requested quite a few for Christmas presents. Bless her. So far, the people she has gifted with them, love them. I’m not sure how I’m going to market them as custom (15 letter limit? Specific sayings?…) but, I’ll figure it out and I’ll get it done. Either way, it’s fun and I’m going to keep practicing and doing.
Sometimes I get an idea then frantically get it done so I don’t lose the vision! Done in about 4 hours and already listed in my shop…
I’ve devoted myself since the holidays to making my shop a daily effort. I used to only work it during the holidays but, I feel as though I want to make this a major part of my effort. I’ve been enjoying being able to make jewelry and share my creations on a regular basis.
when I post in my shop, I’ll be posting here too.
when I find new inspiration, I’ll share here too.
Here are my latest Etsy listings:
I finally sat down and made myself a pair of earrings. I’ve been so obsessed with making sellable jewelry that I’ve let myself go! Here’s what I did:
I bought the peace signs a loooooong time ago meaning to make earrings for me. I bought the small silver plated rings in June for another project but, I like chainmaille so much that I wanted to incorporate it into my little project.
It was practice for me. I’ve been using primarily aluminum rings which really don’t require any tools because they are so soft and easy to open and close. Silver, stainless steel and copper aren’t quite as easy especially the little tiny ones. I want to try to make longer chains using gold, silver and stainless steel rings.
I also have a pattern for a chainmaille vest that I promised my boyfriend about 2 years ago…time has been against me. It’s going to be a big, tedious process but I’m determined. I bought the recommended tools (bent nose pliers) and I used them for the chainmaille in these earrings. They worked beautifully.
For practice, I’m planning on making some more of the small chainmaille jewelry for myself and then plan on selling it in my Etsy shop.
Let me know what you think!
I was so happy today to see that I hit 500 fans on my Facebook page! I gave up the ladders that get me fake fans and I’m not in a position to pay FB ridiculous prices to promote me. I just stayed patient and it finally hit!
In celebration, I’m having a week long sale and a bracelet giveaway! Please go take a look!
